Meaning: Family, House, Inside

Explanation: The tent was divided into two sections for men and women. The entrance at the front lead to the men’s section and another entrance from the men section lead to women. Beit means house [tent] but also means family. Back then they would identify people from what ‘house’ they belonged [their patriarch] i.e. the house of Israel [Jacob]’
